POWER Ballads - Who's Really To Blame?
Warrant ? Winger ? Perhaps Poison ? Nope . Sorry folks . No , I'm afraid that if we must play the , how you say - "blame-game" , we must go back a decade to find guilty parties . "Beth , I hear ya callin' , but I ......" you may know the rest . Yes , none other than the musical stylings ( never quite got that phrase, but it always cracks me up ) of Mister Peter Criss and KISS . Styx didn't help when they came out with Babe . You know , the one that goes " You know it's you babe " , " Babe I love you" , and the best/worst -"Ooh , ooh , ooh , oooo-ooohh BABE " - ending ever . Kinda sounds like Arnold Horshack's " Oooh ! Oooh ! Mr. Kotta !!! " . Yes I'm afraid these songs helped to pave the way for the cookie-cutter crap that spewed forth in the later 80's . Oi vey !!!

Squeeze ketchup was invented by George and Jerry on Seinfeld . It's a fact . Sort of . Ok , not really , but I know that show was somehow responsible for that and several other things .
